**PaxInfotainment** is a passenger infotainment display for flight simulator enthusiasts. Built for the PMDG Boeing 737 in Microsoft Flight Simulator and Prepar3D, it runs on a dedicated screen (full screen or windowed) and recreates the moving map you see on a real airliner's cabin screens.
It connects automatically to the simulator through FSUIPC and reads the flight plan straight from the 737's FMC to get the departure and destination airports. It then draws the planned route on a world map and shows the aircraft's exact live position along it, updated every 30 seconds. Alongside the map, passengers see the key flight information: ground speed in km/h, altitude in meters, and outside air temperature.
PaxInfotainment is donationware. It installs without administrator rights, and supporters receive a personal key as a thank-you for their donation.
